Stories by YoungSTARS (SYS)
Being developed since January 2016, SYS is bringing together youth from around the world to create a magazine in support of children's health services.
5.9 million children under the age of five died in 2015, that is an estimated 16,000 children everyday1.
83% of these deaths were caused by infectious, neonatal or nutritional conditions1.
We hope to prevent the lack of accessible and affordable health services from being a factor in hindering children's potentials.
Our goal is to develop partnerships among youth and various organizations to create a collective effort in improving children's health globally.
With contributions from teams in different countries, this magazine will showcase rich and diverse local stories, culture, and artworks related to children and youth.
Important note: This project is still in the planning stages. Our global team members are in the process of creating our first issue, as such we are looking for new members to join from around the world.
